Principal tasks:
- To coordinate administrative and financial aspects of the project (WP1);
- To organize a conference on M. tuberculosis host-pathogen interaction (WP2);
- To contribute to a conference on the application of molecular tools for the diagnosis, drug susceptibility testing and epidemiology of tuberculosis (WP2);
- To host trainees from MPC entities and provide expertise in WP3 and WP4.

Principal tasks:
- To coordinate WP2
- To contribute to the conference/training course on the use of molecular tools for the diagnosis, drug susceptibility testing and epidemiology of tuberculosis (WP2)
- To host trainees from other MPC entities to reinforce skills in molecular typing (Spoligotyping, MIRU-VNTRs) and data mining (WP4)
- To provide expertise on molecular typing and host-pathogen interaction of M. tuberculosis (WP3 and WP4)
- To contribute to WP5
Partner 3: Institut Pasteur de Tunis (IPT)
Research laboratory: Mycobacterial Genetics Unit and Department of Immunology
Principal investigators: Helmi Mardassi (Scientific coordinator), Ridha M. Barbouche
Principal tasks:
- To coordinate the overall scientific activities of the project, to interact with the administrative and financial coordinators (WP1), and to coordinate WP3
- To organize a conference on the use of molecular tools for the diagnosis, drug susceptibility testing and epidemiology of tuberculosis (WP2)
- To contribute to the organization of workshops (WP2) and to the evaluative meetings (WP1)
- To host trainees from other MPC entities (WP4) and to provide expertise in molecular epidemiology and host-pathogen interaction(WP3 and WP4)
- To ensure S&T transfer and upgrading of TB research at IPT
- To contribute to the dissemination of the project outcomes (WP5)
Partner 4: Research Center Borstel (FZB)
Research laboratory: Molecular Mycobacteriology, Microbial Inflammation Research
Principal investigators: Dr. Stefan Niemann
Principal tasks :
- To coordinate WP4
- To contribute to the conference/training course on the use of molecular tools (WP2)
- To host trainees from other MPC entities to reinforce their skills in M. tuberculosis molecular typing (MIRU-VNTR and other techniques) (WP4)
- To provide expertise on biosafety/myccobacterial growth/molecular typing of M.tuberculosis/macrophage and mouse infection models (WP3 and WP4)
Partner 5: Instituto Aragonés de Ciencias de la Salud (I+CS)
Research laboratory: Mycobacterial Genetics
Principal investigators: Pr. Carlos Martin
Principal tasks:
To contribute to the conference/training course on M. tuberculosis host-pathogen interaction (WP2); to host trainees from other MPC entities to reinforce skills in host-pathogen interaction (WP4);to provide expertise on molecular typing and host-pathogen interaction of M. tuberculosis (WP3 and WP4).

- To host a scientific meeting
- To contribute to WP3

Principal tasks:
