What's EUMENET-TB
EUMEDNET-TB project is a multi-institutional cooperative approach for upgrading research and control in the Mediterranean region of one of the most threatening human infectious diseases, namely tuberculosis (TB). This consortium aims at developing high standard research activity pertaining to genetic diversity and drug resistance of Mycobacterium tuberculosis, the causative agent of human TB, and its interplay with the host immune system. Several measures will be set up to promote fruitful interaction between Mediterranean and European institutions.
